Meet Sophie

I believe your photos should feel effortless and timeless, magazine-worthy yet authentic, capturing the honesty of your day without feeling staged or forced. Every moment, big and small, deserves to be documented because you should remember how you felt, not just how you looked.

With over 12 years of wedding and branding photography experience, my approach is all about giving you the space to relax and be yourselves, so your photos truly reflect you. I’m here to guide you every step of the way, to create an experience that feels as comfortable as spending time with a friend.

Photo Delivery

You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within about four to six weeks of your wedding. At that time, I'll also send over details about preserving your images through prints and albums. 

I hope the relationship doesn't end after I deliver your photographs. I want to hear about the adventures of married life. And if you decide to have kids, I'd love to document your growing family.

Let's connect

After photographing more than a hundred weddings over the past few years, I’ve found that we’re not the perfect fit for every couple. That’s why this process begins with a conversation. We want to hear everything—how you met, funny first date stories, and how y’all got engaged.

We’ll get to know one another, talk about the details of your day, answer any questions you might have about working with us and figure out if we’re the best fit for each other.

Engagement session

I'm a big fan of engagement sessions for a few reasons. Not only do they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera, they also give you the opportunity to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you. 

Engagement sessions can take place anywhere from immediately following a proposal to just a few days before the wedding. I’ve found that there isn’t a “good” or “bad” time to take your photos. We normally plan sessions based on a particular “look” a couple has in mind, spring flowers for example, or based on schedules.

Wedding prep

I check-in about two months before the wedding to start chatting about timeline specifics, special details, family formal shot lists, special traditions and anything else we should know about your big day. 

While I normally don't send my questionnaire until closer to the wedding, please don't hesitate to let me know if you have questions during the planning process!

BIG DAY is here

It's finally here! The day the two of you say "I Do" and dance the night away surrounded by your family and friends. 

Just know my team and I are excited to celebrate and capture your wedding day. It's going to be awesome.

I recommend booking as soon as you know your date. I limit the number of weddings I take on each year to ensure I give each couple the dedication and time they deserve. Locking in your date early helps make sure I can be there for you along your wedding planning process with all things photo related that will make your wedding uniquely yours.

how far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Absolutely! I love capturing love stories in new places and am more than happy to travel for your big day. Some destinations, in the US and abroad, are especially meaningful to me so much so that I’ll even waive my travel fee. Whether close to home or somewhere far that holds significance for you, I’m ready to document every moment. Each setting brings its own magic, and I’d be honored to capture that for you.
