Sophie is inspired by fashion, art, light, emotions, relationships, travel, and the unexpected. She acquired her first camera at 14 years old and has been photographing professionally for over 12 years now.
It wasn’t until she stepped foot into her high school darkroom for the first time and saw the magic that unveiled on a piece of paper, that her passion for photography developed (pun definitely intended). In very much the same way, the experience of capturing raw emotions on a wedding day or getting the shot during a branding shoot is like stepping into a different kind of darkroom—the world behind the lens. She aims to recreate the magically feeling of wonder and excitement for everyone that she meets when they look at what was created together.
Sophie's passion isn’t just about photography. Her passion is to show the beauty of human connection, where every frame tells a story.
She is a Philadelphia and New Jersey based wedding, portrait, and branding photographer, available for local and destination projects.
While not photographing or retouching, Sophie spends her time with her husband, baby boy and two cats.

Photography for me isn't just about capturing beautiful images or creating stunning visuals (though that's certainly a part of it). It's about so much more. It's about telling stories. It's about freezing moments in time that are filled with emotion, joy, and love.
